Private Onedrive OK and also syncs and O365 account hangs on creating folder. If I look into finder I see that the folder is also not created.

Hi MCroonen,
As the steps above only work on Windows, I edit Shirley's post. To further narrow down the issue, could you try the following steps?
1.To check if the issue is related to your user profile on Mac, you may log into the Mac using a new user profile and check the outcome.
2.To see if the issue is related to the accounts in your organization, you may try the test account I have provided in the Private Message(PM) and share the outcome.
Moreover, I have sent you a PM to collect the Next Generation OneDrive for Business sync client logs on Mac and your tenant info. You can access the PM at https://community.office365.com/user/conversations
Thanks,
Felix

Followed both steps (new user on mac and 0365 test account) with same outcome. Replied to your PM and send log files.
Thx!

Hi MCroonen,
We have received the logs you provided in the workspace and we will involve related team for further investigation. Once we get any updates from them, we'll post here to let you know.
Moreover, we'd like to write a quick summary on your scenario. If there is any misunderstanding, please let us know.
1.When add business account via the next gen OneDrive sync app and choose OneDrive folder location, it would hang on.
2.Please confirm whether the issue persists after you choose another location.
3.Since the issue remains for other accounts, it indicates the issue may be related to the local settings on the Mac, including the OneDrive app.
If there is any update, please let us know.
Best regards,
Mills
